Jason Rop practices primarily in the areas of estate planning and administration, business and real estate transactions, litigation, and criminal defense. He also has significant real estate and business transactional experience. He is a native of Byron Center, Michigan, and a graduate of South Christian High School (1992), Calvin College (1996), and Notre Dame Law School (2003). Mr. Rop began his legal practice in Louisville, Kentucky with the firm Frost Brown Todd, LLC. He returned to western Michigan in 2008, making Rockford his new home and joining Blakeslee, Fry & Scales, PLC.
Mr. Rop is a member of the Board of Directors of the North Kent Service Center, the Board of Directors of the Rockford Chamber of Commerce, and is active in the Grand Rapids Bar Association. Being new to the Rockford area, he is actively seeking to know and become known in the community. He is also a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and maintains a license to practice law in Kentucky.
